Founded in 2010, Onkar Engineering has grown into a leading precision metal-processing and heavy-fabrication partner in the Chakan industrial belt. Our 24,000 sq. ft. facility integrates CNC fiber laser cutting, CO2 laser cutting, abrasive waterjet cutting, plasma & oxyfuel plate cutting, CNC press brake bending, and certified MIG/TIG welding.
Instead of coordinating with multiple standalone suppliers for cutting, forming, and welding, engineering and procurement teams get one reliable, accountable partner for both individual precision parts and complete fabricated assemblies.

Initial Setup in Bhosari
Started operations in a 3,500 sq. ft. rented facility in Bhosari, Pune to begin precision metal profile cutting & fabrication.
Bhosari MIDC Land Purchase
Purchased an owned 9,000 sq. ft. industrial plot in Bhosari MIDC (Dec 2011) to establish long-term manufacturing infrastructure.
Shift to Owned Plant & Machine Expansion
Shifted to the owned Bhosari MIDC facility and commissioned 2 new machines: a 2×4m Abrasive Waterjet cutting system and a 320-Ton × 3m CNC Press Brake bending machine.
Mitsubishi Laser System
Expanded precision profile cutting capabilities with the induction of a Mitsubishi CO2 laser cutting system.
Trumpf Laser System
Further enhanced high-precision sheet metal cutting capacity by commissioning a Trumpf laser cutting system.
HAN'S Laser & Chakan Plant
Commissioned HAN'S large-format (2.5×8m) CNC fiber laser (up to 40mm) and set up 24,000 sq. ft. fabrication plant in Chakan.
Unified Chakan Consolidation
Merged all cutting & fabrication operations into one unified facility in Chakan for faster turnarounds & future growth.
Advanced Bending & Assembly Scaling
Expanded heavy-duty CNC press brake bending and structural assembly capabilities under one unified manufacturing hub.
