Best fit

Best suited when the material should not receive thermal input, or when thick plate and mixed material jobs are beyond conventional thermal cutting routes.

Waterjet is often the cleanest choice for stainless steel, alloy steel, aluminium and selected non-metals where heat-affected zones are not acceptable.

Production planning

Abrasive waterjet is useful when heat input must be avoided or when material thickness and composition make thermal cutting unsuitable. The process can cut metals and selected non-metals without creating a thermal heat-affected zone.

Onkar Engineering has sample experience across 50 mm and 75 mm stainless steel, thick mild-steel profiles and large-diameter waterjet work. Final cut quality, taper, tolerance and piercing approach depend on the material grade, thickness and geometry.
